Before we went to Bleau last week I saw a video of Caro Sinno in La cicatrice de l 'ohm (8A+) and it was love at first sight! The line looks just amazing and although I didn't wanted to project any boulder it was clear that I at least will have a look.
After walking around for an hour in the forest and we didn't find the boulder we just wanted to give up as Matti found the boulder only maybe 200 m from the parking place. It was incredible to see the boulder for the first time, the perfect line in an amazing surrounding. Also the boulder was just perfect for me: only crimps and many moves:)
I was really surprised as I was able to do all the moves in the first session so it was clear I can do it if the conds are good. The first time during our bleau trip was just too hot for that little crimps but the weather gots colder and so I had some good tries. After falling two times on the last move before the top out I was a bit disappointed but thats climbing. Succes and failure is just nearby. One session I did together with Kaddi Lehmann what was just great. It's always inspiring to climb with such strong girls! She did the ending like Caro with a high heel hook. This was not really my style, don't know but maybe I've got to less abs for that:) I will train it:) I did it really powerfull without any hook.
One day I woke up and it was super cold and I knew today would be good. So Matti and I went to the boulder. I warmed up and did it in the first go :) I was so so super happy to do such an amazing line! It is for sure know my favorite boulder till know!! It is really strange that it is so unknwon.
More about our Bleau trip and pics are coming soon :)
